DL VPC-LAB 4.0

The DL VPC-LAB 4.0 is a software that has been developed to teach process control techniques in a unique and effective way. With this software, students can improve their individual experience on studying process control in practice. Students will be able to carry out several experiments dealing with the following topics:

• control systems, open and closed loop system,
• sensors, transducers and actuators,
• input and power signal conditioning,
• level, flow, pressure, temperature,
• Error, offset, calibration, response time, ON-OFF control, hysteresis, PID controller, Proportional control (P), Proportional-Integral control (PI), Proportional-Integral-Derivative control (PID).

This software will be able to reproduce the features and behaviours of the DE LORENZO Process Control Trainer – DL 2314.

DL OPENLAB-SSEM

The DL OPENLAB SMARTSIM is a software that has been developed to teach main topics related to electric machines in a unique and effective way. With this software, students can improve their individual experience studying electric machines in practice. Students will be able to carry out several experiments dealing with the following topics:

• Mechanical assembly,
• Wiring, tests and measurements.

This software will be able to reproduce the features and behaviours of DE LORENZO Electric Machines Laboratory – DL OPENLAB.

DL SMART–AI

The DL SMART-AI is a software that has been developed to teach artificial intelligence with Python in a unique and effective way. With this software, students can improve their individual experience on studying artificial intelligence in practice. Professors can explore this trainer to provide experiments to students with the following topics:

• Optimization: Introduction, definition, time and cost problems;
• Classification: Neural networks, signal generation,
• TensorFlow, predictions and failure predicts;
• Reinforcement Learning: Introduction and comparative to modern control;
• Decision trees: Application on regression.

DL SMART–DCS

The DL SMART-DCS is a software that has been developed to teach dynamic control with PLC in a unique and effective way. With this software, students can improve their individual experience on studying control systems in practice. Professors can explore this trainer to provide experiments to students with the following topics:

• Control systems: Introduction, examples, block digrams, open and close loop systems;
