History of De Lorenzo

Founded in 1951 by former engineer Ugo De Lorenzo in order to meet the growing demand on quality electronic instrumentation in industry and education field.

By 1960 De Lorenzo noticed that there was great demand for equipment and instrumentation designed, aimed and made specifically for the educational area.

From here, the first electronic bank was born in 1964, equipped with all power supply needed for the vary experiments on an electronics course.

Then in 1966, De Lorenzo releases the first complete electronics laboratory: benches, power supplies, motors group and other accessories.

In the 70’s De Lorenzo significantly increases the number of employees and initiates exporting its electrical machinery laboratories. 

In the 80’s Mr. Luciano Prosperi gets complete control of De Lorenzo and thanks to a huge organization and administrative great effort, De Lorenzo increases its domestic market and initiates its global expansion.

 
Ever since, De Lorenzo has established other independent companies, which are united by a common goal and managed on the same strategy; nowadays, we might say that De Lorenzo Group is one of the most important industrial and commercial realities on the vocational and technical training field.

De Lorenzo celebrates its 50th founding anniversary. As for over fifty years, with a large number of products in catalog and worldwide installed laboratories, De Lorenzo goes on a commitment tradition on designing and manufacturing of high-quality educational systems for the didactic area.
