Electricity

Electricity is a general term that encompasses a variety of phenomena resulting from the presence and flow of electric charge. These include many easily recognizable phenomena, such as lightning and static electricity, but in addition, less familiar concepts, such as the electromagnetic field and electromagnetic induction.

Our proposal starts with the electric machines (4 different powers: 0.2 kW, 0.3 kW, 1.1 kW and 3.5 kW) and the related electromechanical construction technology and then proceeds with civil and industrial electrical installations, to reach the electrical power engineering subject, dealing with the generation, the distribution, the protection and the utilization of the electrical power.

A special laboratory (EIB - European Installation Bus) is dedicated to the study of domotics, a new technology that uses a single bus for the distribution of both power and signals.
